The Cars - Candy-O (listen) I woke up humming "Let's Go" which I think has to be a good sign.
Sparks is a band about which I read something every three months or so and think, "I should go back and really listen to them" and never do. So here in the absence of a mention is their heretofore unexplored 1972 milestone Kimono My House (listen) and it strikes me as ABBA approximated by plastic robots, hastily programmed ages ago by a dying Edith Piaf, afraid that her contributions to the art of song would disappear.
That line of musing means it is time for Les Rita Mitsouko! (listen) Allons!
