How awesome is a mounted and framed gold tape? An LJ friend evoked 90's Baton Rouge's answer to Planet Rock, electro rap titan Kyper (myspace). This stuff was everywhere when I was in college. I once watched a guy block Highland Road traffic solely to show off the hydrolics on his gold Lincoln and impress his friends outside the Foot Locker by campus while blasting "Conceited." It went on forever, with a line of cars honking behind him. It was beautiful, like b-boy compact opera. Their claim to fame was the #14 hit "Tic-Tac-Toe", though looking back through their songs critically, I prefer the alien invasion theme of "Throw Down."
