R.I.P. Bob Bogle, guitarist of the Ventures

Being the guitarist of the Ventures is like saying you are the seed of the lotus flower in my book.

  1. I reafirm, R.I.P. Bob Bogle as you will be sorley missed. Thanks for all the great tunes.
I grew up listening to the Ventures music and drummers Howie Johnson and Mel Taylor helped inspire me to become a drummer as well. Sorry about the neck injury Howie. I gave up drumming due to lack of interest. At 62, who's interested in looking at me as their drummer. I had my fun though, played alot of night club and hotel gigs. I do cherrish the memories. I had about four albums of the Ventures which burned up in fire along with all my drum gear and alot of other albums of various genra's of music. Those old wax LP's are hard to replace.
Love you Bob, see when I get there. Maybe we can jam a few tunes.
    Love,
    Bill... A loyal fan.
