    I could only get into "Abs! Abs!" via audiobook and then only when driving. Anyway it's not that funny. Instead, try Barthelme's "A City of Churches." It's in the 20th cent. shorts anthology that Updike edited.

    There should be a musical version set in a 24-gym called "Abs! Abs!' I bet that would be funny!
