I knew Jimi Hendrix played Baton Rouge in 1968 but it never registered that opening act and Kundalini engine Soft Machine thus once landed in our balmy Plutonian burg, meaning Robert Wyatt once walked (important, he became wheelchair bound in '73) somewhere in our fair city, unless - it's possible - he was carried along on a cloud of smoke.
