Daniel Patrick Quinn's "The Burryman"

Daniel Patrick Quinn - "The Burryman"

I had this little slab of homespun Irish Scottish minimalism stuck in my head this morning, but I could not for the life of me remember who did it or the name. The Boogeyman? The Ferryman? I even reviewed the album ages ago and lost its odd title Ridin' the Strang but searching for 'ten-inch record' in my gmail revealed it. Ridin' the Strang is a great record for those with serial minimalist tendencies and a tolerance for unabashed Irish-ness, and "The Burryman" is the highlight.

I love it when I can find something.
