100 Words on a Very Mysterious Blue Plastic Suitcase

On the way back into town on the elevated portion of South I-110, near the Mohican Street exit, I saw a billboard depicting a blue plastic suitcase that said “$10,000 Reward if recovered – no questions asked.” What could be in that suitcase that would cause you to get a billboard made? The billboard rental alone is a couple grand. Would you put up a billboard to retrieve something illegal? I love the idea that there is a blue suitcase sitting somewhere in wilds of North Baton Rouge, containing something worth a lot more than $10,000 to some very nervous people.

  2. I wish I could, but I saw it from the interstate and didn't have time to snap a picture. I might have time to go out there later in the week though. Maybe I'll find that suitcase...

Evidently, the suitcase in question is the box of student financial aid records that "disapeared" over the I-10 Mississippi River bridge.
