Lunch at Middendorf's, home of the best thin-cut fried catfish one can eat with green onion-riddled hush puppies on a windy patio jutting out into Lake Maurepas after a long drive through the surreal swampy flatness of my home state, or anywhere for that matter. And the first stage of the garden got put in. And my girl and I went to the movies, and it finally hit me what a good record the first LCD Soundsystem is.
