Brisket Special at Sammy's, Baton Rouge


The brisket was fork tender without falling completely apart and drizzled in tangy BBQ sauce, which at first seemed like a detriment, but it lent it a meatloaf air, perhaps underscored by the neighboring lima beams and mashed potatoes, and everything tastes better when it tastes like meatloaf.
